Two high-ranking officials in charge of repairing the Gardiner Expressway have left their jobs. It’s unclear if they were fired or left on their own.
The two men were made to “take the fall” after a number of instances last summer involving falling concrete from the underside of the Gardiner, a city official told The Toronto Star.
The city is spending more than $12-million to repair the 50-year-old Expressway.
