Toronto mayor Rob Ford and TTC chair Karen Stintz have had yet another difference of opinion.
Ford said he doesn’t see the need to hike TTC fares next year, but Stintz told The Globe and Mail without an increased subsidy from the city, they will have no choice but to make the customer pay more.
The TTC hasn’t made a decision on a fare hike, but a rate of inflation increase would add about $30 a year to the cost of a Metropass.
