Representatives of the NHL and the Players’ Association will sit down together Monday in Toronto — but not to work on a new contract.

Instead, they’ll be discussing the accounting for last season’s hockey-related revenues.

It’s their first meeting since the lockout began last weekend, and there are no contract negotiations scheduled.

The work stoppage has already prompted the cancellation of September’s pre-season games.

Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs were supposed to play their first pre-season game against the Ottawa Senators.
