TORONTO, Ont. – A 67-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a taxi, pinning him to a wall outside Dufferin Mall on Monday afternoon.
The driver hit two other vehicles and the wall before striking the pedestrian, Const. Hugh Smith told 680News.
Police said the driver of the taxi apparently lost control of his vehicle in the mall’s parking lot at around 2:30 p.m.
Police will review whether an impairment or medical condition led to the incident.
It is not clear whether charges will be laid.
