TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police said a 46-year-old Mississauga, Ont., man faces several charges including attempted child abduction.
The alleged incident happened on Saturday morning at Millwood Park, near Mill Road and Bloor Street West.
Police said the suspect stopped his car and began yelling, as he approached a two-year-old girl. The girl’s father was able to intervene.
David Briggs faces several charges, including attempted abduction, sexual assault and possession of cocaine.
Police said they believe there may be more victims.
