The province’s Special Investigations Unit has been called after a 42-year-old female prisoner was killed in a car accident outside Kenora.
The Kenora Daily Miner and News is reporting that a marked OPP cruiser, carrying the woman, collided with a tractor trailer around 2 a.m. Sunday.
It happened at the junction of Highway 17-A and Highway 658.
The highway was shut down as police gathered evidence.
