TORONTO, Ont. – Police are looking into the possibility that a woman injured in a rollover in North York Saturday morning may have been drinking.
The woman was sent to hospital with serious head injuries but is expected to survive.
CityNews is reporting the woman was driving on Don Mills Road around 1:30 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle just south of Highway 401.
That’s when the car flipped onto its roof and crashed into a bus shelter.
The intersection was closed for about an hour as police investigated.
In another crash, approximately three hours after that incident, another car ran into a pole on Adelaide Street East at the Don Valley Parkway ramp.
Three people were taken to hospital in that crash, one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
