TORONTO, Ont. – A Toronto man wanted in a series of sexual assaults in the city’s downtown area was arrested in Pickering on Thursday.

Thomas Reardon, 34, is accused of sexually assaulting three women last month in the Yonge and Wellesley streets area.

The suspect faces several charges, including three counts of sexual assault. 

On Aug. 23, an 18-year-old woman was approached in the Yonge and Wellesley streets area. She was led to a nearby building and allegedly sexually assaulted.

On Aug. 24, a 40-year-old woman in the Gerrard Street East and Parliament Street. area was led behind a commercial building and allegedly sexually assaulted.

On Aug. 29, a 26-year-old woman was approached in the Yonge and Gloucester streets area and allegedly sexually assaulted in a nearby building.

Police said the suspect allegedly befriended his victims and asked them to follow him to a building or laneway where they were allegedly assaulted.

Reardon was scheduled to appear at College Park court on Friday.
