RICHMOND HILL, Ont. – York Regional Police have arrested a man sought on a Canada-wide warrant in a 2010 double slaying in Old Montreal.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a Richmond Hill home on Queensway Drive early Friday, where they arrested the 28-year-old suspect without incident.
Kyle Gabriel, of Richmond Hill, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and was to be transported to Montreal on Friday.
Police said three men stormed an upscale Montreal clothing store and opened fire in March 2010, killing two men, including the store’s manager and injuring a third.
Two suspects were arrested shortly after the deadly shooting.
