TORONTO, Ont. – The Toronto Blue Jays traded Yorvit Torrealba to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations on Friday.
Torrealba, 34, has appeared in 10 games for the Blue Jays this season, posting a .214 average with one home run and two RBI.
In 12 major league seasons, the right-handed hitting catcher has recorded a .258 average with 56 home runs and 323 RBI.
