Attention job seekers: the Yorkdale Shopping Centre is hiring.

The expansion at the mall means there are 1,000 new jobs up for grabs at 40 stores, including Kate Spade, Microsoft, Ann Taylor and Tesla Motors.

A job fair will be held at Villa Columbo Banquet at 40 Playfair Avenue, located near Lawrence Avenue West and Dufferin Street, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The 145,000-square foot expansion is set to open in November.
