TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have identified the two victims of an early morning double homicide in a Rexdale, Ont. townhouse complex on Tuesday.
Suleiman Ali, of Toronto, and Warsame Ali, of Vaughan, were found dead behind a row of houses in a townhouse complex on Jamestown Crescent with gunshot wounds. The two men are not related.
Police are seeking a black male, approximately 5-foot-10, who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Police believe he fled on foot.
Police responded to calls around 1:30 a.m. on Jamestown Crescent in the area of Finch Avenue West and Martin Grove Road, following reports of gunshots.
A resident of the townhouse complex told 680News that she heard at least six gunshots fired.
