TORONTO, Ont. – Two festivals will take over Toronto streets this weekend with weekend-long closures, and a Sunday morning run in the west-end.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, the Bloor West Village Ukrainian Festival will shut down Bloor Street from Jane Street to Glendonwynne Road through Sunday until midnight. Runnymede Road will be open to traffic during the festival.
Starting Saturday at 6 a.m., Roncesvalles Avenue from Grafton Avenue to Boustead Avenue will be closed in both directions until Sunday at 11 p.m. for the Polish Festival.
On Saturday, a series of road closures will take place to accommodate the Toronto 5K Race. The area bounded by St. Clair Avenue to the north, Christie Street to the west, Davenport Road to the south, and Russell Hill Road/Macpherson Avenue to the east will be shut down from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Gardiner Expressway will be closed over the weekend for fall maintenance.
