TORONTO, Ont. – A 75-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in North York, Monday.
The incident took place near Bayview and Byng avenues at around 9:45 a.m.
Toronto police Const. Clint Stibbe with Traffic Services said a 54-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Lexus when she struck the victim. She was pulling out of a driveway at a chiropractic clinic.
He added it’s too early to say if charges will be laid, but the driver did remain on scene.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
Bayview was closed between between Finch and McKee Avenue for the investigation, but has since reopened.
