TORONTO, Ont. – A 25-year-old man has been charged in the death of a Toronto man in an east-end shooting over the weekend.
Toronto resident Andrew Burnett is charged with first-degree murder.
On Saturday, the victim, Cory Campbell, 26, was discovered in the hallway of an apartment building at 11 Main St., at approximately 11:15 p.m., suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
An autopsy determined Campbell died due to a gunshot wound to the chest.
Burnett is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
Police said they are seeking a second person.
