TORONTO, Ont. – Police are hoping the car belonging to the victim of a deadly shooting in Scarborough will lead them to a murder suspect.
Investigators believe their suspect may have fled in a black, four-door Acura that belonged to Abdulaziz Farah, who was killed in a shooting in Malvern Saturday.
The car has chrome rims and an Ontario licence plate ‘BMEP-115.’ Police say anyone who spots the vehicle should keep their distance and instead call 911.
The incident began after police were called to Fawcett Trail, in the Morningside and Sheppard avenues area, where they found Farah, 28, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are also on the lookout for a silver car that was in the area at the time of the shooting. Officials say anyone inside that vehicle is likely not a suspect, but rather a witness who may be able to help with their investigation.
