TORONTO, Ont. – Police are investigating following an alleged sexual assault in the west end, early Friday morning.
Around 3:10 a.m., a 62-year-old woman was sleeping in her home in the Bloor West and Islington area, when a man broke in. She was then sexually assaulted.
The man fled the area, but police believe the same suspect is behind another attempted break-in around 3:30 a.m. in the Royal York and Norseman Street area. A 49-year-old woman was awake when she saw a man trying to enter her home, before he fled the area.
Ten minutes later, police allege he broke into a home in the Royal York and Queensway area, where he sexually assaulted a sleeping 70-year-old woman, before fleeing.
The suspect is described as tanned with a dark complexion, 20 to 25 years old, 5’8” with a thin build. He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a white cloth or t-shirt covering his face and head with his eyes exposed.
