TORONTO, Ont. – A 56-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with a car in the city’s west end, Friday.
EMS officials told 680News the crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. at Royal York Road and Evans Avenue in Etobicoke.
Police said the motorcycle was heading southbound on Royal York when it struck a silver Ford Focus on the passenger side. The northbound car was turning westbound onto Evans at the time.
The intersection was closed for the police investigation, but has since reopened. TTC bus service has resumed in the area as well.
