Toronto police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted on Saturday near Morningside Avenue and Ellesmere Road in Scarborough.

A 38-year-old woman was walking on the pathway from Mornelle Court to Military Trail when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her around 8:10 p.m.

The suspect is described as an East Indian, between 25 to 30 years old, five-foot-seven with a thin build. The man was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
