TORONTO, Ont. – The TTC will be updating thousands of signs at bus stops, and are promising that within the year, riders will be able to read at a glance when their bus will leave their stop.

Riders will also be warned about service disruptions before they pay their fare.

The signs will also include whether the buses at that particular stop are ones that run overnight.

Riders will notice changes at some bus stops in about six weeks, but it will take over a year to fully implement the changes.
