Their Royal Highnesses the Earl and Countess of Wessex – also known as Prince Edward and his wife Sophie – will spend a week in Canada on a working visit.
The couple arrives on September 11. Their itinerary includes Toronto, Ottawa, Trenton, Hamilton, St. Catharines, Midland and Iqaluit.
This is Prince Edward’s 33rd visit to Canada, but the trip marks the first time he will be in Canada’s arctic.
Reasons for the couple’s visit have not been announced yet.
Edward is the youngest son of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
