TORONTO, Ont. – Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a sexual assault which took place in the downtown area, Tuesday.
Around 6:30 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted twice – once in the Mutual and Gould area, and shortly afterwards in the Mutual and Queen area.
The woman screamed and was able to fight him off, and he fled the scene.
Investigators describe the suspect as black with a dark complexion, in his 20′s, and between 5’8” and 6′ tall.
Police continue to search for a single suspect following eight sexual attacks in the Bloor and Christie area in the past month.
The Sex Crimes Unit has yet to make a connection between those cases and Tuesday’s attack.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
