TORONTO, Ont. – An impressive outing by pitcher Brandon Morrow gave the Blue Jays the needed spark to avoid the sweep against the Baltimore Orioles.
Morrow went six innings only allowing three hits and a pair of earned runs, while striking out six.
Pitcher Steve Delabar continued his impressive run since being traded to the Jays, picking up the win after throwing a scoreless seventh inning.
On offence the Jays were led by Rajai Davis, who hit his seventh home run of the season en-route to three RBIs.
Also knocking in runs were Kelly Johnson and Adeiny Hechavarria.
The win helped the Jays avoid the sweep, after failing to score in the previous two games against the O’s.
The Blue Jays will have the day off Thursday before getting back into action against the Red Sox Friday in Boston.
