TORONTO, Ont. – A big honour has been bestowed on the University of Toronto.
The school’s massive library system has been ranked as third best in North America, behind Harvard and Yale universities.
The Toronto Star reported the rankings, which are compiled by the Association of Research Libraries in Washington, D.C., take into account things like the number of volumes and how many books have been added over the past year.
The U of T library system has over 12-million books — including e-books — making it the largest library system in Canada.
