TORONTO, Ont. – Some Toronto police officers near Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East had to play ‘cowboy’ early Tuesday morning and help round-up some horses.
Police told 680News a passerby called at around 5:15 a.m. to say they spotted about 20 horses running free in Sunnybrook Park.
It turned out they had escaped from their paddock in the park and decided to go for a walkabout.
Some had wandered up to the cricket field where staff assisted officers in herding them all back into the paddock.
All of the horses are fine.
