The Ministry of Environment and a private hazmat company have been called to Port Dalhousie in St. Catharines, after a 30-foot tour boat sunk early Monday.
The boat was docked at a wharf when it was sunk and police officials say no one was on board.
Police in St. Catharines told 680News the Ministry of Environment has been called in to take care of any pollution that may occur.
Officials have not yet speculated on how the boat sunk or whether foul play have been involved.
