A 29-year-old man who was pulled from Lake Erie Monday afternoon has died.

Ontario Provincial Police told 680News the man was in the water at Long Point Provincial Park with family and friends around 4 p.m. when he slid off a sandbar and had trouble re-surfacing.  

Emergency crews pulled him from the water about 25 minutes later with no vital signs. Paramedics performed CPR, but could not resuscitate him.
