A 30-year-old St. Catharines man is dead after he was injured while trimming a tree on private property Saturday.

EMS services attended the scene but were unable to stabilize or revive the man.

His name is not being released at the request of his family.

The incident is being investigated by the regional coroner’s office. Foul play is not suspected and it appears to have been an accidental death.
