A 60-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle rollover on the westbound Highway 401 near the Cedar Creek Road exit.
According to OPP Sergeant Michelle Murphy, there were four others in the vehicle at the time.
“The passengers, an 18-year-old female and three children were taken by ambulance to Woodstock General Hospital with minor injuries,” Murphy said.
Police say they are not yet sure what caused the car to leave the road.
“A Toyota Sequoia was travelling westbound when it went off the roadway and rolled into the ditch just west of County Road 3,” she added.
The westbound Hwy. 401 had been closed in the area for several hours as police investigated, but it has since re-opened.
