A couple of pedestrians are dealing with injuries after being struck in two separate crashes early Saturday morning.

Police say both were lucky to suffer only minor injuries in the incidents.

One of the pedestrians was struck at the intersection of Pape and Cosburn avenues. The driver in that incident was taken to traffic services to test his blood-alcohol content.

Charges have not yet been pressed but officials say charges of driving under the influence are pending.

Meanwhile, the other pedestrian was struck at Pape Street and Danforth Avenue. There has been no word on any charges related to the second driver.

Anyone with information or who witnessed either crash is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
