TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have arrested a 50-year-old man in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a TTC bus.
On July 31 around 12:15 p.m., a 38-year-old woman was on the bus, which was travelling northbound along Islington Avenue from Bloor Street West,
Police allege a man who sat directly behind her sexually assaulted her. The women then walked to the front of the bus to alert the driver, but the man fled the bus.
Hassan Rahimi of Toronto has been charged with sexual assault.
Police are searching for this man in connection to a sexual assault which took place on a TTC bus in the city's west end, July 31.
