Women are twice as good as men at making friends for life, according to a new study published in Britain’s Daily Mail.
One third of the women surveyed said their best friend in adulthood is someone they met back during their school years.
The men asked were more likely to make friends in university or at work.
However, both genders agreed that despite how many Facebook friends they might have, they only had about five close friends in real life.
Still, a growing number of people admit they are using social networks to re-connect with individuals they first met as school children.
