TORONTO, Ont. – Three people, a 16-year-old boy, and two men in their early 20′s, are each facing several charges in connection with a gang sexual assault of a teenage girl.
According to Toronto Police, a 14-year-old girl made plans to meet one of the accused males on Coxwell Avenue late August 2nd.
When the girl arrived, the male she intended to meet was in the company of the other two accused, who were unknown to her at the time. The girl and the three accused then went to a home near Wakunda Place.
It is alleged while in the home, the girl was repeatedly sexually assaulted by the three accused.
Richard Wayner, 23, and Michael Pottle, 22, both of Toronto, and a 16-year-old boy, also of Toronto, have each been charged.
The 16-year-old boy cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
