TORONTO, Ont. – Due to a number of events, there will be several road closures in effect in Toronto this weekend (Aug. 18-19).
Also starting is the Celebrate Yonge Festival, which will see sections of Yonge Street reduced to two lanes for a several-week long celebration.
Bloorcourt Village Street Festival
- Bloor St. will be closed from Dufferin St. to Montrose Ave. from at 6:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Saturday.
- Dovercourt Rd. and Ossington Ave. will remain open to traffic during this event.
- A series of road closures will take place in the area bounded by Lake Shore Blvd. E. to the north, Cherry St. to the west, Unwin Ave. to the south and Leslie St. to the east from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.
