TORONTO, Ont. – Police have confirmed to CityNews that the body parts found in a Mississauga park do not belong to 16-year-old Brampton girl Mila Johnson.

There had been initial fears that the body parts found in the Mississauga park could belong to the girl, who has been missing since August 3.

Earlier, one of her relatives spoke with CityNews about a telltale sign on one of the body parts found that had them alarmed.

“She does have yellow nail polish, but we don’t know if it’s the matching nail polish to the foot, we don’t think so because it’s not too bright and they say it’s bright yellow,” said the relative.

“But all we can do is pray and hope that it’s not her,” the relative added.

Anyone who may have a missing family member is being asked contact Peel Regional Police.
