Computers and personal items worth more than $60,000 (U.S.) have been stolen from the California home of the late Steve Jobs.
The San Jose Mercury News reports a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged with residential burglary and selling stolen property. He remains jailed with bail set at $500,000 pending a court hearing on August 20.
Santa Clara county prosecutor Tom Flattery has not said if the items taken from the home on July 17 belonged to Jobs or another family member. Flattery did say the suspect was likely unaware of the home’s significance.
Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc., died last year at the age of 56.
