TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto’s budget committee chief will meet with the Toronto Police Services Board this week to talk about possible spending cuts in 2013.
The Globe and Mail reported Councillor Mike del Grande will not provide specific spending targets, but believes there are savings to be found.
He admitted he’s trying to balance what council would like and Mayor Rob Ford’s pledge to hold property tax increases to 1.75 per cent next year.
