Legendary singer Neil Diamond was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday.

During the ceremony, which took place in front of the famed Capitol Records building, the American artist shared his thanks for the honour, while revealing his intention to visit the marker again in the future.

“I’ll walk by here often, if you’re ever lonely or want to say hi, I’ll be right around here just maybe playing my guitar,” Diamond said.

Diamond’s career includes 125-million albums sold worldwide, 37 top-ten singles on the Billboard Hot-100 and sold-out tours around the world.
