TORONTO, Ont. – A 25-year-old man is in hospital after being hit by a taxi early Saturday in the Entertainment District.
The accident happened in front of a nightclub on Mercer Street, near King and John Streets.
It’s reported the victim was dragged around 10 or 15 feet behind the taxi, before being rushed unconscious to hospital around 2 a.m.
Reports indicate the victim may have been passed out behind the cab when the accident happened.
There has been no word on the man’s condition.
