TORONTO, Ont. – Regional authorities have cancelled the flood watch issued for the City of Toronto, saying that rivers and streams in the area have peaked.
Officials are warning that rivers and streams may continue to flow at higher than normal level throughout the day, however, meaning they should be considered dangerous.
Environment Canada is forecasting periods of rain showers with a risk of thunderstorms over Saturday and Sunday.
