TORONTO, Ont. – A cyclist has died after getting his wheels stuck in TTC streetcar tracks.
Police told CityNews the man, believed to be in his 40′s, was riding south on Wychwood Avenue, in the St. Clair Avenue West and Bathurst Street area, when his wheels became stuck.
The man fell to the ground and hit his head. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was closed for almost two hours while police investigate.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the event to contact them.
