Niagara Regional Police have a 29-year-old man in custody, after a 41-year-old victim was found dead early Saturday morning.
Police responded to a licensed establishment on Portage Road early Saturday, where they found an unconscious male with trauma to the body.
He was tended to on the scene by EMS workers but succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as John McKenzie, 41, of Niagara Falls.
Charged with second-degree murder is Timothy Brian Nicholls, 29, also of Niagara Falls.
Police say they are continuing their investigation but anticipate no further arrests.
