It appears more Canadians are tuning into this year’s London 2012 summer games than the previous summer games in Beijing.
Canada’s Olympic Broadcast media consortium has put daily viewership for London 2012 at 74 per cent higher than Beijing 2008.
Daily audiences averaged 2.1 million Canadians during the first three days, with 83 per cent of the country’s viewers tuning in.
Swimming is the most-watched sport so far, with a reach of 13 million.
