Canadian Ryan Cochrane has been bumped out of the 400-metre freestyle final, after Korea’s Park Tae-Hwan won his disqualification appeal.
Park, the reigning Olympic and world champion in the event, won his Saturday-morning heat with a time of 3:46.68, but was subsequently disqualified for leaving his block early.
