TORONTO, Ont. – If you’re looking for a job, the Toronto Transit Commission may be the better way.
The TTC said it will hire 500 operators in 2012. These are not new positions, but new hires that will help to fill gaps caused by retirement and attrition.
According to a report in the National Post, TTC spokesman Brad Ross said more overtime with current staff may be used to fill out service needs.
Ads for the operator positions are already running on the TTC’s public address system.
