TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have arrested a man wanted in connection with one of three shootings over the weekend.
Derrick Brown, 46, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant and was arrested on Monday.
He faces seven charges, including attempted murder while using certain firearm and use firearm to commit indictable offence.
The shooting took place on Saturday at around 4 a.m. in the Kennedy and Ellesmere roads area.
Police said a 43-year-old man suffered several gunshot wounds to various parts of his body. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and is expected to recover.
