TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault investigation involving a 12-year-old girl.

It is alleged that on July 21, a man sexually assaulted the girl at the Dennis R. Timbrell/Flemingdon Aquatic Centre on St. Dennis Drive.

That evening police arrested Mohamed Vepari, of Toronto, and charged him with sexual assault.

He appeared in court on Sunday.
