HALTON, Ont. – Police in Halton Region are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 79-year-old woman.
The woman was last seen leaving her residence in the area of Blind Line and Britannia Road in Burlington.
She was driving a 4-door Chrysler Sebring when she was last seen at approximately 12:30 p.m. on July 20.
Reports indicate she was on her way to the Bible Mission in Burlington, but never arrived.
Her vehicle was spotted in Hamilton later that same day at approximately 6:42 p.m.
Missing is Anke Ytsma, 79, described as a white female standing 5’2″ with a slight build. She has blue eyes and wavy brown hair.
She was last seen wearing grey Capri pants, a multi-coloured flowered shirt and sandals.
Anyone with information on the woman or the vehicle is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
