TORONTO, Ont. – City workers discovered some cracks in the Gardiner Expressway near the Humber Loop on Friday, but no falling concrete.
There were reports of falling concrete and the Humber loop tunnel was closed as a result. Inspectors were called to the scene at around 7 a.m.
The tunnel was closed for over an hour to make sure it was safe. It has since reopened.
On Wednesday, falling concrete shut down a section of Bathurst Street for around six hours.
