TORONTO, Ont. – An anti-violence vigil took place in Lawrence Heights, the scene of Toronto’s 30th murder of the year, Friday.
27-year-old Daniel Davis was shot and killed early Thursday morning near Flemington Public School near Lawrence Avenue West and Allen Road.
Residents gathered at the Lawrence Heights Community Centre on Raplin Road at 6 p.m.
They then staged a community anti-violence walk.
Those in attendance included Davis’ two cousins.
